Hi Guys! I was revisiting Seal' first album and wanted to post my favourite track for you. It's called Show Me and is a beautiful tune. The drumming is a lessons in tase, space, groove and restraint and I hope you enjoy it.
Not who sure it is but according to the notes it could be Denny Fongheiser, Curt Bisquera or JR Robinson, maybe someone (Randy [img]wink.gif[/img] ) could help!

Sounds similar to the playing on Steve Winwood's stuff so I would "guess" JR.
I's not JR, too many 'small' cymbal sounds which JR does not use. My feeling it's Denny.
I really dig Seal's stuff. & his album w "Kiss...Rose" & "Don't Cry" [in 6/8] is just the shizz. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] [img]cool.gif[/img]
A top 40/rock band i used to be in in the early 90's used to cover Killer & Crazy...we rocked 'em. I'd get chills playing our version of Crazy...the audiences really dug them.
If the band had stayed together longer, we would have been playing "Don't Cry" for sure...i would've demanded it. ;c)

Come to think of it has JR ever used a splash type cymbal in any recording?
I love Denny's stuff with Tracy Chapman on her first disk! Also got to see him live when Tracy opened for Sting. Magnificent playing and he inspired me to use haul just 2 of the DW 9799 stands to gigs for my whole kit. A lot less to carry.
Hey guys, I'm pretty sure this is Curt on "Show Me" - I've seen him in clinic before. Could be wrong though!
